Step two Now we have admitted that we are powerless. Now what? This question brings us to step two, believing that a power greater than ourselves can restore us to sanity. For many of us that is God. To others it is whatever he or she believes is greater than themselves. This is truly where the miracle starts. No longer do we have to deal with the addiction on our own. We now have something or someone greater than ourselves, hat can relive us of our burdens. This step is often harder for those of us who have had little faith or has lost all faith. But even these people can acquire the same miracle if only he or she will stop fighting and be willing to believe in something greater than themselves. Sounds simple, but sometimes the simple things can be the hardest to do.
