JANESVILLE — Lynn H. Pratt, 93, of Janesville, WI, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, in Mercy Hospital. He was born in Leyden, WI, on March 22, 1912, to William and Grace (Speer) Pratt. He married Eva Galauner on May 23, 1936, in Rockford, IL. Lynn and Eva farmed in Porter and Center Township for 42 years. Lynn loved working the land and caring for animals, especially his Holstein dairy herd. He prized his Case tractors and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Lynn enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Lynn is survived by his wife of 69 years, Eva; his 5 children: Lyle (June) Pratt of Helena, MT, William (Marilyn) Pratt of Edgerton, Linda (James) Hanson of Janesville, Richard (Ruth) Pratt of Lake Geneva, and Paul (Martha) Pratt of Powell, OH; his 10 grandchildren: Craig (Shahnaz) Pratt, Aaron Pratt, David (Jennifer) Abb, Jeffrey (Cindy Fryda) Abb, Katy (Ben Smith) Harper, Karen (Josh) Andersen, Kristin Pratt, Sara Pratt, Amy Pratt, and Brian Pratt; his great-grandchildren: Alyssa Pratt, Nathaniel Abb, Nicole Abb, Haley Abb, Brady Abb, and Austin Harper; and his 2 brothers, Chester Pratt and Gerald (Betty) Pratt. Lynn was blessed with many caring nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Herschel; a sister, Elvira; and 2 infant grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, with burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery, Center Township.
The family would like to thank Vivian Ames for her special loving care during the past year.

A farmer’s reward
As the sun goes down, that harvest season,
God looks down and smiles with reason.

So together they walked, through grains of gold,
Knowing the reward, this farmer will hold.
