Wow, what fascinating photographs, Lunaslobo. you are not only eloquent with your poetry but with your camera as well...! :D Your pictures inspired this : ************** Just One More Turn********************* Splintered basketball hoops standing tall and o-oh so folorn with remembering the echoed shouts of children's gleeful victory at game's end score just beg like encircling arms to catch and net some kid's mud and grass stained basketball againThe swings long empty sway ever so gently in the breeze as their chains, mud encrusted and rusty with sweat from grubby warm fingers, moan and groan with the effort of age that time has inflicted upon them as well. A lone teddy bear, once brown, fuzzy, and loved sits alone at the bottom of the slide as if in anticipation of "Just one more turn......One more turn....that never came. His fuzzy coat has grayed dull and he bares the scars of birds scaveging for nesting material as he stares upward with his lone right eye and waits for "One More turn that comes in an Antique shop window. Lone teddy bear sports new dark brown plush a dapper plaid bow~tie a Gentleman's cane and feels again the warmth of a delighted child's embrace. :D The end. I especially love the one of the old house. Makes me wish I could explore around inside it and/ or fix it up to it's once long ago but obvious grand splendor. :) :) :)
